Isbahiyah Abdul Wahab
Educational Therapist
Isbahiyah is an NIE-trained educator with 33 years of teaching experience, including 26 years in special needs education. She is certified in autism and dyslexia and have extensive experience working with children and youth with Cerebral Palsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As she begins her teaching journey at DAS, she looks forward to learning from her students as much as they learn from her. She remains committed to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments that recognize and nurture the diverse needs and potential of every learner.
Dinoshi Keiper
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Dr. Dinoshi Keiper is a registered Guidance Counsellor (Australian Counselling Association) and Psychotherapist supporting emotional wellbeing and career development across the Asia-Pacific. She works with students, families, and educators to support learners with ADHD, learning difficulties, and related emotional challenges.
Motivated by her clients’ untapped potential, she pursued doctoral studies to better connect educational theory with classroom practice. She now collaborates with educators to foster inclusive teaching, strengthen student resilience, and improve outcomes for diverse learners
Mohamed Samunn
Lead Educational Therapist
Samunn’s Educational Therapy (SET)
Samunn joined DAS in 2008. He joined as an Educational Therapist and worked his way up to Senior Educational Therapist at the DAS. He also holds a Master’s degree in Specific Learning Differences (M.A. SpLD) from London Metropolitan University, UK. After leaving DAS at the end of 2022, Samunn now operates his private educational therapy practice, Samunn’s Educational Therapy, back home in Sri Lanka.
He delivers online and F2F intervention and/or remediation lessons in literacy, numeracy, English language, and math to learners with dyslexia and other SpLDs. In addition, he conducts webinars and workshops in Educational Assistive Technology (EAT), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Design Thinking in SEN for parents and educators. He has 37 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
He is also currently pursuing his PhD at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. His research interests include supporting emerging and adult learners with SpLD in higher education and helping create positive learning spaces for them with technology.
