Synopsis:
Barriers to learning prevent kids and educational therapists from reaching their intended learning goals. When the planned learning objectives are not met in a lesson, the lesson design can be revisited without changing the learning objectives of the lesson. In this session, we are going to explore how personal learning spaces could be designed using the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework and assistive technology to reduce the barriers to learning and further help to engage students.
