Bio About

Zakiyyah graduated from the University of Social Sciences with a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology in 2018. She joined the DAS in 2019 as an Educational Therapist at Tampines Learning Centre. Before joining the DAS, she worked with students with special needs in the mainstream school from 2014 – 2019. Over the years, she has been working with a wide range of students with special needs - including students with co-morbidities, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Autism.

Zakiyyah believes in instilling fun elements in learning for better internalisation of concepts. She hopes to motivate students to enjoy the process of learning because learning in itself, never stops.
