Bio About

Wendy is a highly experienced early childhood educator with over 25 years of experience. She has earned several Special Commendation Awards and worked for almost a decade at the NIEC (ITE) campus. Wendy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of South Australia (UNISa) and a Master's in Education (Special Education) from Nanyang Technological University. Since April 1st, 2020, Wendy has served as the Centre Manager and Chief Educational Therapist at Imagine If. In this role, she develops individualised skill profiles, formulates appropriate objectives, and plans lessons meticulously. Wendy implements behavioural, social, motor, communication, and academic curriculum objectives for her inclusive preschool and kindergarten classes. Many of her students have developmental delays and disorders such as autism, global developmental delay, dyspraxia, and intellectual disability. Wendy is a distinguished speaker who presented at the RETA webinar on March 25, 2021, and the Good Start Conference on September 29, 2023.
