Bio About

Drawing on her past experiences working with children of diverse needs in Singapore and Canada,  Julia has developed a strong global awareness and interest in the field of SPLD. Her journey with her students at DAS has also reinforced her beliefs in early  intervention. Working with younger children with learning difficulties has always been close to her heart. Therefore, her passion and advocacy drive her in her work as Lead Learning Suppprt Educator/ET Professional in the Development Support and Learning Suppprt (DSLS) programme in the Singapore preschool sector. Currently, Julia is an adjunct associate and she looks forward to the day when schools and educators welcome neurodiversity in their classrooms. Teaching is a work of heart. Julia truly believes building a positive relationship first is fundamental for all learning.
