Bio About
Hazirah is an experienced Educational Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the special education industry. Hazirah’s professional philosophy is that all children are individuals, and everyone learns uniquely. She uses multisensory methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) and is a strong advocate for Multiple Intelligence Theory by Howard Gardner to reach students and maximise their potential so that no child is left behind "Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding." — Robert John Meehan
Testimonial
I have worked closely with Hazirah. Her responsibilities included both planning and implementing aspects of our Educational Support Unit (ESU) programmes as well as supporting the children in interventions and classroom support. I enjoyed working with Hazirah very much as did the children. She consistently demonstrates her desire to do what is best for each individual child and always seeks to understand where each child is coming from before responding to their behaviours. Her kind and calming manner with the children helps creates supportive relationships and they enjoy having Hazirah as their teacher. She is always willing to try new things and aims to be responsive to the children’s needs and interests to the best of her ability. Although Hazirah does plan and resource her own intentional teaching experiences well, she is also very adept at taking direction and working diligently to deliver the program as has been planned. -Candice Chok, Former Supervisor
