Bio About
Amalina is an experienced and enthusiastic educator. She began her career in a private centre as an Educational Therapist, providing 1:1 educational therapy and facilitating Social Skills Group sessions with students with ASD. After that, she continued her teaching stint at a special school before providing support to students at mainstream schools. With her experience teaching both local and international students, Amalina is well versed with both the local and international curriculums. She is a classroom practitioner who is conscientious and exhibits in-depth knowledge of her students’ needs as she takes pride in producing differentiated instructions to reflect the learning abilities of each of her student. Her fundamental belief is that every child can achieve their goals with the appropriate methods and strategies. As a lifelong learner herself, she continues to learn in the pursuit of supporting students with academic, behavioural and social challenges. To get the greatest outcome possible, she works collaboratively with both her students as well as their families and other stakeholders.
