Bio About
Nur Alia is a Senior Educational Therapist with DAS. She teaches students with Dyslexia in the Main Literacy Programme (MLP) and was also teaching the Essential Math Programme up till 2023 to focus on curriculum development. She is in the English Language and Literacy Department (ELL)’s curriculum team. As a Curriculum Developer, she is part of a dedicated team focusing on the curriculum for both the Main Literacy Programme (MLP) and the iReaCH programme. To learn more about special education, she had furthered her studies and thus has a Master of Education (Special Education) from the Nanyang Technological University/National Institute of Education (NTU-NIE). Her passion lies in teaching and guiding students with learning difficulties and especially if they find writing challenging. As she continues teaching and working with fellow colleagues in curriculum development, she looks forward to learning with her learners and to grow professionally in this special education field.
