Bio About

With 12 years in the education field and social service, Meetal has teaching experiences with learners who have additional needs. Having been with DAS International since June 2020 till now as a Senior Specialist Tutor, she has been teaching primary and secondary students. Currently, as a Middle School teacher at The Winstedt School she teaches English Language, International Mindedness, IMYC and SEL to students with diverse needs. She has previously taught primary level students in SHINE Children and Youth Services. She has been teaching in local schools and taught ESL/ mainstream subjects in an international school as a Homeroom Teacher. Additionally, TESOL equips her to educate learners who take English as an additional language. Meetal completed a Bachelor's degree from Northumbria University, UK with an honours dissertation on vocational prospects for youth with Autism. She has a Diploma in Special Education, trained in Orton Gillingham, Autism and has carried out school based dyslexia remediation. She has run reading programs for children and would teach primary and lower secondary students with special needs, also volunteering with Muscular Dystrophy.
