Jiayi holds an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Kent and an Advanced Diploma in Special Education from NIE, where she was valedictorian with a 5.0 GPA. She also possesses specialized diplomas in Dyslexia Studies (DAS), and Special Education (NIE).

Throughout her career, Jiayi has worked closely with children and youths aged 2 to 18, addressing a wide range of special educational needs. Her expertise in designing and implementing evidence-based interventions has led to impactful results for children struggling with literacy, numeracy, emotional regulation, social skills, and anxiety. Jiayi also conducts regular training workshops for parents and educators, enhancing their ability to support children with SEN.

In 2020, Jiayi received the Leading Foundation Teacher Award for Special Needs Education, recognizing her dedication and significant contributions to the field.

Jiayi believes in individualized approaches to empower each child to thrive. Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Sign Language, she brings a multicultural and inclusive perspective to her practice.
