Bio About
As the Program Director and an Educational Therapist at Reading Specialists, Joanna specializes in literacy intervention and collaborative, strengths-based work with children and their families.
She recently co-authored a reading textbook titled "ABCs of Reading: How to Teach Your Child to Read" to teach parents and early childhood teachers how to effectively teach kids to read using the science of reading. Joanna graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Services. She then earned a Master of Arts in Education with High Distinction from Monash University in Australia.
Joanna continues to set goals and build sustainable habits to better serve her students and help them find their voice and reach their full potential.
