Bio About

Janitha joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore in 2011. She embarked on her journey in DAS as a Learning Support Officer to support students in the Oracy/Computer Literacy Programme at Tampines Learning Centre. Shortly after that, she progressed to become an Educational Therapist for the Main Literacy Programme (MLP).

Currently, besides providing intervention to MLP students, she dual specializes in Specialist Tutoring with DAS International which provides one-to-one intervention services. In addition to these roles, she undertakes the role of the Resource Coordinator for the 14 DAS Learning Centers and heads the Resource Development Team in designing and developing manipulatives for the students of DAS. She is also an Associate Fellow with RETA.

Janitha is a dedicated and passionate facilitator and motivator for her students, some of whom have shared the long journey with her. She strongly believes that there is hope for success in every child and strives to bring out the best in them.
