Bio About

Janitha joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2011, beginning her journey as a Learning Support Officer for the Oracy and Computer Literacy Programme at the Tampines Learning Centre. She quickly advanced to the role of Educational Therapist for the Main Literacy Programme (MLP), where she provides targeted intervention for students.

In her current position, Janitha not only supports MLP students but also serves as the Resource Coordinator for 12 DAS Learning Centers. She leads the Resource Development Team, focusing on creating engaging manipulatives tailored to the needs of DAS students. Additionally, Janitha is a Fellow with RETA, further enhancing her expertise.

A dedicated and passionate facilitator, Janitha is committed to motivating her students, many of whom have been on this journey with her for years. She believes every child deserves to be understood and supported, regardless of their learning challenges. With a firm conviction that every child has the potential for success, she tirelessly works to bring out the best in each of her students.
