Bio About

My teaching career began in 1997, leading me down a long road where I came across many students who were struggling due to their different learning needs. This struck a chord in me and I sought out skills and knowledge that would help me help these children. In 2007, I completed the Orton Gillingham teacher training course and by 2014 I had completed several courses from British Dyslexia Association, Direct Leaning and Dyslexia Association Singapore. I am an Educational Therapist at Links, a COBIS affiliated school in Karachi, Pakistan. My experience in teaching students with learning differences eventually led me to teaching children with special learning needs from economically impoverished backgrounds. While I have touched the lives of many children and watched my students successfully make their way into college, each student feels to me like a beacon of hope- a hope for their own future and growth.

"Empowering children with proper support to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams. Let no child fall behind!"

Testimonial

"Ms Fehmina Khan has been teaching and providing remedial help to my child since he was about 6 years old. She taught my young, shy son with great dedication to improve in his day to day studies and building his concepts in language based subjects. After a year or so she took on the challenge of improving his math skills. More importantly, over the years, she built his self esteem and self confidence. She has always encouraged him and been a guiding pillar and a great support to both my son and myself." - Mrs Kamal
