Bio About

Durgeswari d/o Mogan is a Senior Educational Therapist and Maths Dual Specialist at Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) since 2018. She provides intervention for learners with dyslexia and other co-morbidities on the Main Literacy Programme and Maths Program. Durges also contributes to the Maths team by developing  teaching resources for the respective primary school levels. Additionally, she helps to conduct profiling tests and assesses new students’ abilities to ensure that they are placed in suitable classes.

Prior to working in DAS, she has worked with students with Schizophrenia, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Specific Language Impairment (SLI) and anger management issues.

Durges values the importance of identifying her students’ learning needs and interests. By teaching them to equip themselves with essential skills through fun and interactive lessons, she believes that she can pave the way for their adventurous learning journey.
