Bio About

Yuey Sum is an Educational Therapist experienced in delivering one-to-one interventions in Mathematics and English for children with learning differences, including ASD, dyslexia, ADHD, and mild intellectual disability.

She holds a Specialist Diploma in Learning Support for Specific Learning Differences from DAS Academy and has completed professional training in Executive Function skills and Functional Behaviour Analysis. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Special Educational Needs / Additional Learning Needs with the University of South Wales (UK) in collaboration with DAS Academy.

Yuey Sum is committed to helping students reach their potential and develop a love for learning by providing targeted support, effective strategies, and a supportive environment. She designs individualised curricula based on each learner’s profile, strengths, and needs, and applies the Orton-Gillingham approach in her teaching. Executive function skills. such as attention, working memory, planning, and thinking skills are intentionally integrated into her interventions.
