Bio About

Joyce joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2021 as an Educational Therapist. She graduated from the Singapore Management University with a major in Psychology. Trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, Joyce has been providing targeted interventions for children with dyslexia, addressing not only their specific reading challenges but also navigating co-occurring difficulties such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Joyce is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for all her students in the DAS classroom. She tries to tailor learning methods to meet the unique needs of every student. Additionally, Joyce has been entrusted with the role of an awareness speaker for the Dyslexia Association of Singapore. This new responsibility allows her to extend her impact beyond individual interventions, spreading awareness about dyslexia and advocating for a more inclusive and understanding society.
