Synopsis:

What Dyspraxia Looks like in the Classroom and How can you Support those With and Without a Diagnosis

This presentation will help educators to identify dyspraxia in the classroom. Expanding on the definition it will explore traits that will be seen in a ‘dyspraxic’ child/young person. As well as how these traits affect their learning and day to day life. Whether it be gross/fine motor skills; executive function or spatial awareness.

Various strategies and techniques will be presented that hugely support the child/young person and their parents. Thus improving the student’s school and home lives. These strategies/techniques are often simple to implement and will improve the learning environment for many students within the classroom
