Is a graduate and has attended a minimum 40-hour course, which has equipped the candidate with theoretical knowledge and practical skills (supported by evidence that a min. of 10 practicum hours has been logged) required to provide literacy support to SpLD learners. E.g. – Cert. in Dyslexia & Literacy Teaching |

Is a graduate and at least holds a diploma in a relevant field, which clearly demonstrates the requirements of the Associate Member Plus level. E.g.- PGCert in SEN or Specialist Diploma in SpLD |

A PGDip holder, who is qualified in an area relevant to educational therapy such as education, psychology, speech and language, literacy, etc. E.g. – PGDip in SEN |

Holds at least a Masters Degree in a relevant area and has made significant contribution to the advancement of the profession in research, training or other activities. E.g. - Master of Arts in SEN |

APPLICATION FOR NEW MEMBERS
Download the application form as PDF and complete by adding text. Email soft copy of the completed form and supporting documents (all scanned certificates to be Certified True Copy stamped) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . If you require the assistance of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore to verify and stamp your certificate copies with Certified True Copy, you would need to come down personally with your NRIC/Passport (We will not make any copies of your NRIC/Passpport. This is in line with the PDPA requirements) DO NOT print & scan completed form.
** Supporting Documents include the following:
- Passport size photo
- Two Testimonials
- Documentation of past employment (If you are a private tutor, we need at least 2 parents testimonials and if you are a registered private tutor, please provide us with details)
An administrative processing fee of $20 (SGD) is payable upon application.
Kindly note that payment of membership type to only be made once the application is approved and payment requested from us.

APPLICATION RENEWAL FOR EXISTING MEMBERS
Applications will be reviewed by panel advisors, and successful applicants will be informed of their membership status.
Upon approval of the application, please make payment to the Dyslexia Association of Singapore. Payment can be made via these modes: cheque, NETS and PayPal.
We accept new applications all year round, but approval of applications is processed between 1-2 months from the date of when the application is received.
Renewal applications to be submitted by 30 November and membership status will be informed between December to January.

- Any new supporting certificates (stamped with 'Certified True Copy')
- CPD hours records
- Records of change in employment, if any
